Application |
|

|
Designed for removing oil & condensates from compressor discharge gas, at small CNG refueling stations that use compressors with inadequate oil filtration. |
Performance |
|
| Flow Rating |
500 Sm3hr |
|
| Gas quality |
discharge gas 99.995% free of condensates of 0.3 to 0.6 micron (< 2 ppm) |
| Temperature |
as inlet gas temperature rise above 70oC coalescing filters increasingly become ineffective in oil |
| Aerosols & vapours |
Removal of aerosols (oil droplets) is easier than removal of vapours. Vapours should ideally be passed through a carbon absorbant filter to create “oil free” quality gas. This assembly does not feature carbon absorbtion. |
| Installation Guide |
Mounting Location |
place filter rack between compressor discharge & priority panel inlet in a convenient location |
| Service Characteristics |
No special maintenance required. Periodically drain 4” filter and coalescing filters. Replace coalescing filter elements when they become blocked. Blockage will cause pre-mature compressor shut down (when ground storage is not full). |
